172 Mohammed Hatta
Mohammed Hatta (1902-1980), later the Indonesian vice president and prime minister, studied in the Netherlands, where he chaired the Perhimpoenan Indonesia (Indonesian Association), which pursued national independence. As such, he participated in 1927 in the first congress of the League Against Imperialism and Colonial Oppression in Brussels.
