This issue is largely devoted to Florentinus Marinus Wibaut, Amsterdam alderman and party leader of the SDAP, the Dutch labour party, who died on 29 April 1936. Wibaut had also been a sexual reformer. With his wife Mathilde Berdenis van Berlekom he had published Wordend Huwelijk ("Nascent Marriage"), on marriage and sexuality, and he was one of the founders of the Dutch section of the Weltliga für Sexualreform, of which he was a board member. The editors here reprint an article Wibaut had written in 1931 for a book to commemorate the NMB's 50th anniversary which apparently never materialized.
