Text: (right) On the 7th day of the 9th month of the year Bunka 1 (7 October 1804) for the first time a Russian envoy came from overseas to Nagasaki. On the 19th day of the 3rd month of the year Bunka 2 he left. (left) The envoy is named Nikora-a Resanotto (Rezanov), the ship's officer is named Kurusensuteru (Krusenstern). |
