Collection Tanvir Mokammel - Bangladesh Liberation War, 1971

From early 2005 Tanvir Mokammel has been working on a long documentary on the events of 1971 in Bangladesh. The film is going to be a research based documentary with reminiscences by the politicians, freedom fighters, diplomats, raped women, wounded people, refugees, eye-witnesses and the key individuals related to the war of liberation of Bangladesh in 1971. So far he has interviewed 83 people. The number of people interviewed finally will be around 130. Most of the interviews are more than one-hour long. Up till now the collection consists of 135 mini-DV cassettes.
